T-N-R First organizing meeting
Trap-Neuter-Return is a full management plan in which stray and feral cats already living outdoors in cities, towns, and rural areas are humanely trapped, then evaluated, vaccinated, and sterilized by veterinarians. Kittens and tame cats are adopted into good homes. Healthy adult cats unable to be socialized to humans are returned to safe habitats with shelter under the lifelong care of volunteers. If you are interested in helping us start a T-N-R program in the Alleghany Highlands, please call 962-1980 and/or attend a meeting at 12 noon at the Charles. P. Jones Memorial Library’s Community Room on January 12, 2008.
